Dr Harry Pannu

Founder, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

A physician with more than 20 years clinical and management experience, Dr Pannu is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arcadia Health Care, which he founded in 2012 and later developed its flagship hospital, Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital. He later founded Matilda Health Care in 2019 and initiated the development of Matilda Nepean. Dr Pannu has experience in the inception, design, development, licensing and operation of private sub-acute, mental health and surgical hospitals with hotel-like facilities. He was previously Director of The IPHOA group of hospitals and successfully quadrupled its enterprise value. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and The Australian Private Hospital Association and the APHA Rehabilitation Committee (NSW member).

Wayne Sammut

Development Director

Wayne has more than 20 years experience in the property industry gained from the successful management and delivery of large large-scale developments across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and the United Kingdom. He is the Development Director at Matilda Health Care from inception and has been serving as a non-executive director of Arcadia Health Care since 2018. Wayne has an extensive track record in senior development roles in leading Australian listed and unlisted development companies. He has worked as Development Manager for Ionic Management (for Payce) developing several large scale mixed-use developments, and held other senior development roles working for Thakral Holdings Group, Walker Corporation and Lend Lease. He has a Bachelor of Building & Construction Economics from UTS.

Lyndal Carruthers

Corporate Administration Operations

An experienced operations, administration and project manager, Lyndal Carruthers has been a member of the team since 2018. Lyndal commenced her employment with Arcadia HealthCare within the administration department at Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital in 2018 and was instrumental in developing procedures and processes to improve workflows and efficiencies.

Lyndal’s recent endeavours include the project management of Matilda Nepean’s new electronic Medical Records prototype combined with the set-up and management of the administration department.

Lyndal comes from a diverse background of operations and project management, mainly within multi-national organisations, where she spent 15 years managing a range of operational projects culminating in the launch of Taco Bell into Australia in her role as Operations Manager in the late 1990’s.

Lyndal holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing).

Chitty Chiu

Corporate Finance Manager

Chitty Chiu is a financial professional with more than 16 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has gained expertise in financial management, reporting, auditing, taxation, process improvement, and financial planning and analysis throughout her career.

Chitty joined Matilda Health Care and Arcadia Health Care as the Corporate Finance Manager. As the leader of the finance team, she holds the responsibility for delivering essential functions such as management accounting, treasury and cash flow management, organisational budgeting, and insurance management. She also prepares papers for and attends board meetings.

With a background in both private and listed companies, Chitty brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Before joining Matilda, she worked in a US listed medical company in various capacities. Additionally, she spent 12 years in a private hospitals group, further enhancing her expertise in the healthcare sector.

Chitty holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounting, from Macquarie University. She is also a certified accountant, demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence and competency in her field.
